Data deletion
Last updated:
This page explains how to ask Trembita Digital LLC to delete data that ContentKiln holds about you, and how to remove ContentKiln from your Facebook or Instagram account.
How to request deletion
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request”. Include:
- The platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube).
- Your username or account ID on that platform, or a link to the comment or content concerned.
We may ask for more information to confirm that the request comes from the owner of the account.
What is deleted
We delete all data about you that ContentKiln has stored, including:
- Access tokens for your account, if your account was connected.
- Account profile information, such as your ID, name, username and picture.
- Comments you left on our posts and any metrics linked to your account.
Deleting data from ContentKiln does not delete anything from Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube themselves; use each platform’s own settings for that.
Timeframe
We complete deletion within 30 days of receiving a verified request and confirm by email when it is done.
Remove the app on Facebook
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
- Open Apps and websites (under Security or Your activity).
- Find ContentKiln in the list and select Remove.
Remove the app on Instagram
- Open Instagram and go to your profile, then Settings.
- Open Website permissions, then Apps and websites.
- Find ContentKiln under Active and select Remove.
After removing the app
Removing the app stops ContentKiln from accessing your account. To also have the data we already hold deleted, send a request as described above.
